Was in Tesco in Bettystown today and thought it was a misprice when I saw a shelf of HP Photosmart C4480 all-in-one printer for €25 each. Decided to purchase and very pleased, full specification in the link below,

    http://store.apple.com/ie/product/TR792B/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1MQ&mco=MTc4NDkwNA

For €25 you can't really go wrong apart from the fact that new ink cartridges will probably cost more than the printer....but it's the same with most printers!!!

Ink is no more expensive than any of the other HP range so pretty good value considering it's an all in one might get one myself my old printer's on it's last legs (also a HP but it's had somewhere in the region of 5000 prints so I've got my money's worth considering I only paid 40 quid for it!)

I wonder is it in all Tescos

Good find! There's a review of the that printer here.

I have the older (printer only) Photosmart 1000, a great ol' workhorse, and ink cartridges are very economical (once you get them refilled). Apart from it being kinda basic and a little on the slow side, for €25 it is tempting! :) I'd certainly go for a HP over a Lexmark any day.

Reluctant to recommend Tesco for any electrical device after buying a 26" Bush LCD HD TV and the screen kept going black [brought it back and they gave me another one without any qualms] but the same thing, but worse, is happening with this new one. It's such a bummer as I bought it in Mayo but Bettystown Tesco would now be more local for me! Grr! Printer deal sounds great though! [Not trying to hijack thread!] Also ink for printers can be ordered really cheaply on inkit.ie so you'd get your Canon printer ink even cheaper!

Great deal if you can get it. None in Mahon Point or Wilton. If anyone spots any in Cork let us know.

That's not really Tesco's fault though, is it? It's Bush's fault for building a crap tv.
Plus the fact that tesco gave you a replacement with no qualms is surely grounds for a recommendation on your part?

None in Crescent anyway - they only have the HP D5360 for €90 (Printer only) and not a great one at that according to this review anyway.

this seems to be a habit with Tesco where it's only available in some stores, I noticed the Sat Nav offer a few weeks ago and was kicking myself I couldn't get one!
I nearly walked away from this offer because I thought @ €25, hmmm what's the catch? Glad I didn't. There were about 4 printers @ €25 left on the shelf on Saturday after I took mine!

Its a very good deal - same one in the argos catalogue is €149.99. If you want to pick up an extra one I'd be happy to pay for postage- no doubt they're gone by now anyway!
