    I know there have been previous threads on this topic, but I'm interested to know how folks percieve her message. In my opionion there are only 3 options here:

    (1) She is genuinely receiving messages from the Virgin Mary and is misunderstood.

    (2) She is being misled as a participant in a false revelation. She is receiving supernatural messages, by an entity purporting to be the Virgin Mary, but in fact the entity behind the messages is demonic or evil.

    (3) She is not receiving any supernatural messages, but is willingly and in full knowledge of what she is doing, manipulating people who follow her for cash/wealth.

    You left out option (4):

    (4) She is not receiving any supernatural messages, but sincerely believes she is, because her religion tells her that the voices she hears in her head are probably not produced by her brain, but by deities and demons instead.

    id say option 5 . shes a con artist who on a visit to america 20 years ago saw how rich televangelists are and decided to create her own franchise back in ireland

    Bob - I think your option 5 is the same as the original option 3?

    I have no idea who she is but based on the info here I would hazard a guess on option 4(a) Is suffereing from a mild form of mental illness leading her into delusional beliefs

    Well I thought about this as a possibility and dismissed it, because she seems to be as sane as anyone else... She has amassed millions of Euro she has invested in property, is driving a 7 Series BMW, she owns a house in Malahide which is worth no less than a few million. I personally think she is a fraud, which would put her under option (3).
