    Hi,
Can some of you please recommend a good laptop to me? My budget is no more then 600euro. I was looking at either the sony or hp ones in that price range? Only because I recognise the brand name. I would like a big screen and as much memory as possible(for that price).
There isn't a huge amount of choice in Galway...only PC world and the sony centre, and found the sales people in both not very well informed! I need it mainly for web browsing, downloading photos, microsoft packages and I may want to get autocad on it at some stage.
    I would appreciate some advice.
    Thanks.

Know someone who bought the model being promoted in the Sony Centre for under €600 recently. Get a free carry case. Decent spec (not for gaming, integrated graphics card perfect for every-day use).

I'd be wary of buying in the sony centre, they are usually more expensive than other places. All you really need is a laptop with a dual core processor, 2GBs ram and 120GB hard drive. That would be a pretty fast machine that would easily suit your needs. You should be looking at around the €600 mark for a laptop of that spec.
