It's a dissociative drug (like pcp and ketamine) that's found in some cough syrups.

As long as DXM is the only active ingredient in that, it should be safe.

Cough syrups tend to be behind the counter so i've never got a chance to scope out what chemicals are in what brands.

My understanding was you only got it with regular use, or a particularly high dose.

(Otherwise i have on one occasion experienced bromide poisining without any noticeable side effects :eek:)

No, generally it requires long term use, but tbh there're a whole host of reasons why DXM is a bad idea.

hah! yeah, it's a pretty dumb drug. The type you might try once and never do ever again, or else never do.

You can imagine desperate american teens doing it regularly and thinking they're cool.

Some call it being "tussed' up" after robutussin cough syrup. Never tried it.

I can get so many proper drugs for at least half the price of drinking a load of prescription drugs. I'd have to be awful desperete to drink that ****.
