Philips TV - screen damaged

I bought a Philips 32" TV, October '07 (i.e. a few weeks out of warranty) it has a plasma screen which my nephew threw a sharp object at. Now the screen has a pernament multicoloured 10 inch rainbow running down the entire screen - can this be fixed?

Highly unlikely that it can be fixed - you'd need to get a new panel for it, so it would probably be cheaper to replace it with a new tv.

BTW, I closed your thread about the old furniture - I'd say you posted in this forum by mistake.
