Season 3 - Not Very Good

I loved seasons 1 & 2, thought they were great. I've just watched the first 3 episodes of Season 3 and found them to be pretty poor in comparison. Not much of a storyline so far.

Is Dexter going the same way as Lost and just being dragged out for the $$$?

Well, you're only on episode 3 so far. It's certainly a season that starts slow, but give it a little more time.

Disagree OP, I think Dex Season 3 is actually better then Season 2, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out but I have high hopes for it

+1 - things really start to pick up later on and by the 6th episode it should be clearer where the story seems to be going. It's another solid season IMO.

I'm loving it! I really like that it's not trying to "top" the previous series', it's just going in original and organic-feeling directions, pretty much fleshing out another few "what if"s of Dexter's situation, which is exactly what I want from the show. Not just a load of shoehorned in high-action and drama that doesn't fit with the character's or the tone of the show. It's going swimmingly

I prefer it season 2 actually. This potential friendship is interesting. I can't wait the season twist where everything will fall apart.
