    For no. 1, all i can say is, try and avoid using flash as much as possible. Flash sucks the life out of photos, especially the color in photos. It just casts a white light on everything. Composition-wise you did great, but without a flash the brown leaves and the green foliage above would have been more vibrant against eachother and made for a great photo. The flash takes over in the last shot as well.

    With the duck photos, I dunno, I just don't like photos of birds in water taken from a high angle. For a great bird shot you need to get into the water and meet them at their level. Buy some waders or something. I haven't bought waders myself yet but when I do my paddling-bird-photos will be 100 times better. I hope.

    13tsoptuo...Am using a Nikon D60, Will turn the flash off now and practice that way as well ...

    Im not really a bird person to be honest :D Just trying to practice using the camera, have only had it just over a month...


    Weidii..There are edited a bit, cropped them n stuff, but not much as like the camera im trying learn the software...

    bird photographs can be difficult without a tele lens sometimes
