Sky+ Hard Disk Failure ??

    Hi.

    Advice needed.
I am by no means an expert but it appears to me that my 4 year old Pace Sky+ box has suffered a hard disk failure. I am getting system failure messages when I try to record anything or even trying to access the planner.

After some googling I have accessed the installer menu and tried a planner rebuild and also a full system reset both without success. I have also tried a software update and a reboot (hold left and right buttons while connecting power). None of these seem to work.

Is my next choice a new hard disk? It probably seems like a good time to get a new larger disk. If so, where is the best place to go?

Has anyone purchased from Xtendedplay? (see link below)

    http://www.xtendedplay.co.uk/sky-hard-drive-upgrade-kit-250gb-prodid-5.html

Their kit seems to provide everything needed to swap disks.

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Max
