Mostly I was trying to see if I could do something a little different from my usual (with the exception of #1).

Wow, top notch stuff. Really sharp and colours really come out well without looking unnatural.

Last picture doesn't really do anything for me but technique-wise they're all excellent.

Brilliant. Well done. I like them all.

#1: Lovely colours and the line of the path leads the eye brilliantly. Theres a nice contrast between the trees and the leaves too which i like.

#2: Nice colour, DOF and very good use of vignette.

#3: GREAT composition. Really makes the picture. Nice colours and DOF.

#4: Way to make use of the natural light, makes the leaves come alive.

No criticism from me this time, i think theyre great.

Considering how plain the subject matter is, these are fabulous photographs.

Really nice, and taken with an Olympus aswell.
Did you use the 14-42mm lens ?
I like the 1st one the best.

Thanks folks, TBH when I went out there I was hoping that there would have been more widespread autumn colour to be seen, some of the beech had quite a lot of green leaf cover still (probably not anymore though, after this afternoon:rolleyes:), so I had to try to be a little creative and think my way through rather than shoot away freely. I'm happy enough with the way these turned out after a little tweaking in LR.

1st is with the 14-42mm lens which is IMHO the best kit lens about, my copy is certainly much better than the 14-45mm I had with my E500.

The other 3 are all taken with the 70-300mm, its a fabolous lens for the money I paid for it, (€250 in Kuala Lumpur on my way to OZ last Jan). It is probably helped greatly in my hands by the IS in the E510.

1st one is my fave would you think it could do with a tiny rotate perhaps?

    :)
