plain flour to self-raising flour

    Can someone help please? What do I need to add to plain to give me self-raising flour - and in what quantity?

    Baking powder. Probably a teaspoon or two for your average quantity.

    I think it's 450 gm. or 16 oz. plain flour + 1 oz./25 gm. baking powder

    Its prob cheaper to just buy SR flour than a bag of Baking Powder ye might not use up
