Just read a review of it there seemed to get a good right up, I prob gonna go see it tonight. Seemingly Colin Farell is very good in it, Thats In Bruges now and This. Seems he maybe on the way back as a credible actor.

Hope its good now, Its either that or Bond and I wasn't blown away by the adds for that.

This was held up for ages. New line or Miramax (whoever is distrubuting it), kept putting the release date back. I think it was meant to be out at the beginning of the year. Looking forward to seeing this myself. I dont mind Colin Farrell in films, he's made a few bogey ones alright, but who hasnt! Hopefully it'll get him back on track. Still though he's class in In Bruges! :)

I went to see it last night and really enjoyed it, it took a little while to get going but picked up the pace after about the first 30 minutes or so.

    Ya I agree,

Very good film Farrell Was excelent in it, Very different in that there is ALOT of character building so the running time is over two and half hours.

    The scene with
Farrel holding the Iron over the Baby was Brilliant Must have been hard to Portray but Looked shocking
    but the
Fight in the bar at the end was random and fairly pointless

I'd give it a very decent 7 out of 10.

Cracking movie. Only part a bit suspect was the ending, specifically
the brawling in the bar, which ironically was anything but honorable or whatever notions of virtue/pride the scene was supposed to represent.

Overall a great watch though. Good length too.

Strangely got slated in the US. And it only gets 34% on RT.

Going to see it this evening. Supposedly the ending is hideous. Any comments?

    I enjoyed it but:

    A: It felt too long

B: It's like every other fecking cop movie out there.....

Personally I'd have preferred it as a dvd.

Yeah I enjoyed it too. Good film but I thought Colin Farrell was absolutely awful in it. I had to hold back laughter a few times he was so bad.

    Well worth a watch though.

I wouldn't recommend going to see Bond anyway, I ended up falling asleep trying to watch it. Pride and Glory looks good. I really enjoyed In Bruges

Just in from this and have to say that it was excellent. Been looking forward to seeing it since first reading about it years ago and the wait really was worth it.

The performences were excellent all round with the underappreciated Shea Whigham being the standout.

rented this last night, very disapointed.
I really struggled not to switch it off at times.

The acting was waaay over board and dramatic especially with the swearing. Some of the characters were introduced for absolutly no reason. some of the scenes where pointless (football game, fight scene, junky chase).I found myself getting irritated with the amount of bandwidth taken up with unnessacary parts of the film -it felt over 3 hours long.

The plot jumped up and around until i could not for the life of me tell what was going and its not helped by the poor scene chopping which were either too fast or too long never right.

a real stinker for me, even with the sterling line up of actors.

Ok film Farrell was good in with way better that Norton (he usually is always on top form)

    I agree the scene
with Farrell's character and baby and the iron

    BTW was Voight's character
    also a dirty cop
    ?
