UPC no longer focusing on TV

Slightly misleading title to the post.

“We are focused on restoring growth to our TV customer base and see the introduction of new services such as high-definition TV and video on demand as the catalysts for this growth."

That's my point. Someone was saying in another thread how 'UPC have publicly admitted that they can't compete with Sky and are no longer focusing on TV'. The person couldn't name a source and tended to ignore questions. My whole point was here was the head of UPC Ireland saying that they are focussing on TV. :)

Then you should have replied to the other thread :)
    Leads to less confusion.

    It was closed IIRC. :)

I'm amazed this is such a big deal to people, the title was put as so to get attention.

Seriously people, it was marketing! :)

I'm sorry I've caused such pain and heart ache but the idea was to get people's attention.

To be honest, I'd class it more like slander or liable [which ever is appropriate in this case and a very serious situation, and I'm probably UPC's strongest hater of their company]

I could go on for a good few paragraphs on how you SHOULD have voiced your opinion, but I don't think it would stick.

What you did is not the done thing on these here boards. You can't just slander a company to get peoples attention. Your original post belongs as a reply to the thread you were talking about [and never bothered linking to here], no where else.

    That's enough now.

Paulm, consider yourself warned - future threads must have a title appropiate to the thread. Not one that is the exact opposite of your post.

    Thread closed.
