I went for LBP simply because it looks so different. Tiring ever so slightly of the ol' FPS!

Of the three at the moment ,I think fallout3 is the best. I have fallout on the pc and it's pretty expansive.
I didn't buy it on the PS3 ,because there are people complaining of glitches/freezing. And because a large game like it ,I'd rather be sitting with a pc.

I have deadspace on the ps3 and I think it's a great game ,short and with some really original gameplay in it (Zero gravity)

Haven't played little big planet yet ,I have it ok ,but I'm waiting for someone to join in with me and have a bit of crack with it. I'd say little big planet will be something that will always get a go. I haven't been able to get online with it yet though:(

I think that would be different for every body i never played an RPG so fallout has me addicted i put down 4 hours last night and 4 tuesday night and had to force myself to save & go to bed.

Dead space i played untill i got fallout it is very good and different i would put down 1-2 hour sit ins on it. without loosing interest

LBP is good its different but ive been unable to play it for more than an hour without loosing interest and going back to fallout.

If i had to pick one i would pick fallout but only if you like RPg's if you dont you will hate it:D

The only thing bad about Fallout 3 is that the PS3 version has some problems in the graphics that the PC and 360 versions don't have at all. The game has alot more jaggies, a smaller draw distance with alot of pop up, and sometime charaters faces go all funny.

Shame seeing as how Oblivion on the PS3 looked better and had a higher frame rate over the 360 version.

Dead Space is a great game aswell, but a little short so some people will never go back once they finish it. I can see myself going through it a few times though as I really enjoy it.

I'm still waiting for fallout to arrive in the post but I've got dead space. It's a great game. Keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.

I traded in the disapointing Far Cry 2 for Deadspace last week and finally I've bought a game worth playing. Ok so it might draw its inspiration from the movie Alien, games like Doom3, FEAR, maybe even "The Thing" but it a genuinely creepy game to play if you've got a surround sound system. You keep hearing things moving around and you can't see them but you know they're there and ready to attack and the atmosphere is brilliant.

The weapons are different and actually make a nice change to the usual machine guns. I like carving the aliens up into little pieces and then stamping on them to hear a lovely sloshing noise. The AI is very good with aliens attacking you from the floor, ceiling, ventilation ducts, in front of you, behind you etc. There are hidden places to access to get upgrades, supplies, titbits of info for the storyline. You also go into gravity free areas that are a bit nausea inducing as everything can turn upside down and you have to get your mind around where everything is as you're probably standing on the ceiling. There are parts where you also venture outside the ship and the view of the planet is excellent.

The graphics are some of the best I've seen yet on the ps3. As stated above, the sound is excellent. The storyline is good though reminiscent of Doom3 imo. I've completed 4 chapters so far and I have an idea where this story is heading but there might be a twist to it yet.

Its the first game I've bought since Uncharted that keeps me playing for hours. I can't recommend it highly enough for people who want something different to the bland shooters like Far Cry2, Haze, Turok etc etc

went for LBP and Fallout 3, very disappointed with fallout can't get into in at all.

LBP on the otherhand is great, for such a simple game it's fantastic.

Will probably trade fallout 3 for deadspace, or swap it even.

Some people say you have to stick with a game for a while to get into it but I disagree. I think if a game hasn't got you hooked in the first half hour, then its not going to e.g.

Great games from the start - COD4, Uncharted

Games that were boring and bland and got worse - Haze, Turok and Far Cry 2

I'd heard Fallout 3 was supposed to be brill but so were the trio I mentioned above that bitterly disappointed me. I haven't played Fallout so can't comment on it but you won't be sorry for getting Deadspace. Play it at night in a dark room and you'll understand the atmosphere that I was talking about - deliciously creepy :D

The only downside is that once you've played it, you might not want to play through it again in a hurry but that could lead to others trading it in quite quickily so you might find a 2nd hand one in the shops.

Haze and turok where rubbish from the first minute.

I think there are 2 types of games the blockbusters like COD4 gears 2 etc that are like a summer blockbuster movie fast paced very liner no need to explore or talk to people or think about what you are doing just blast your way through it. A game where you can pick up and play for 10 mins or 2 hours. But only give you 7 or 8 hours of game play (online aside).

Then you have the slower paced games the oblivian or Fallout that can lead to 100 hours of game play depending on how you play it where things are not set up for you to run through they require some thinking and you really have to invest the time to get anything out of it. It takes at least 3-5 hours of game time to get it up and running i feel but its so worth it.

Fallout isnt the kind of game that you can just pick up for 10 mins as you will get little done but its the kind of game where you are still up at 4 in the morning saying ill just do this bit before bed.

I love fallout at the moment i have Fallout dead space resistance 2 gears 2 and LBP and out of the others i cant spend more than 1 hour on them without loosing interest and going back to fallout.

I like games that hook you in in the first hour but i feel the games that build are far more rewarding

Fallout 3 does grab you pretty quick though, well at least as soon as you leave the Vault. The thing is after that as it goes on it goes from being good to incredible the more you play. Far Cry 2 is a bit of a pain alright, its far too slow and the combat isn't sharp enough nor the story engaging enough. I think I might trade it in too.

Far Cry 2 aka GTA IV in the jungle - booooooooooring! Jeez one of the first missions was chase a guy around the airstrip (he's doing circles so its not even hard to catch him!) and then kill him. At least GTA IV has you going round a big city instead of some repetitive grassland.

Get rid of it for Deadspace for a real gaming experience. I can't stop playing it (went to bed at 2.30am and I get up at 6am ). Some might say Far Cry 2 goes on longer but it just seems longer cause its sh1te.
