Instead of labeling new and scary technology as witchcraft then burning it like other sane and rational people, it seems some adventurous magicians have gone and made some new magic: iphone magic!

And one that's a free give away trick, but only works in America:(

So any magicians wealthy enough to own one of these contraptions?
If so will you be using any of these new effects?

The first one (iBeer) has nothing magical about it - I mean there is no trick. That said the coin is good and while it comes down to the tech the guys still have to work the coin. Even though its not tough its effective.

The iphone is an expensive tool and being that people know technology can do wonderous things it means the artist gets less credit.

There are easier, cheaper ways to get a round of applause.

I'd agree these aren't worth getting an iphone. But it's still pretty neat to see new developments in magic as new technology emerges.

In one of Derren Browns book he talks about his magic phoneline trick.
And i think Barry and Stuart do a few tricks with mobiles, including removing one from a persons stomach!

you could almost have an entire act with phone magic these days.
