The gf's mother has that booklight. If you're a keen movie fan you might recognise it from a film where the main character wears a mask all the time. Answers on a postcard. It wasn't used as a booklight in the film.

it does have a lot in common with a bathrobe... , but I bet in the company where the make them, "bathrobe" is a dirty word...

It was V for Vendetta. Stephen Rea's character used it as some kind of tracker/communication doohickey IIRC. Thanks for playing everybody.

I liked how the whole family did not seem in the least bit aware of how wierd it looked for them to be all wearing those gowns, sitting around a stone table eating marshmellows. "Nope, we're just regular Joe's here!"

    Great idea, consequently misinterpreted.

I'd love one for Christmas. Always wanted to look like a member of a secret society, like say.. the Stonecutters, or even a bishop

You just reminded me I got one of those.

I've tried it on and I look like a shrunken monk in it.:(
Plus my back is cold and the part that drapes over the shoulder keeps falling down.

I guess the dog has another blanket now.

Ah well, not a lot to grumble about in the grand scheme of things.:D
