Best time to end your auction?

I read a long time ago that a Sunday was the worst day as most people are tired after the weekend etc. and don't use their computers that much. I noticed that myself aswell when buying stuff. I often got stuff cheaper on a Sunday than I would during the week.

Today I read that Sunday evenings were in fact the best time to end them.

Just wondering what other peoples experiences are.

    Thanks.

My experience trading on eBay since 2002 would suggest that ending items between 8pm and 10pm Fri/Sat/Sun works best but, of course, it depends to some extent what you are selling. For instance don't have items like ladies shoes ending when 'Desperate Housewives' is showing on TV likewise don't have 'lads' items ending when they are likely to be down the pub or watching footie on the telly! Personally I am sick of the anti-seller policy being operated by eBay and I am greatly reducing my activity there with a view to quitting them altogether in the near future. :):)

Based on my experience as a shopper and seller, auctions ending in the evening on Fri - Sun work best. Sunday is quite a good day, I suppose because people are at home with their PCs and don't have much to do.

As a buyer, with my eye on something I really like, I hate it when the auction is scheduled to end in the evening as that means there are lots of potential numptys bidding against me. (You know the kind - idiotic bidders)

I often choose Sunday night. My logic been, Fri & Sat night people are out socialising.
Sun night is end of weekend when people sit in and watch tv or surf.
I'm sure this has been researched.. I wonder what the best time is..
