    This is a disgrace.

How many combined views on youtube has rick astley received?

    Millions id guess.

Way to piss off your key demographic mtv you twats, actually, I'm surprised mtv is involved in music anymore, judging by their lineup. The hills, pimp my ride etc.

what if this is actually the biggest rick-roll of them all... announce a performance from ludacris or one of those knobs and then rick appears from a dry ice-cloud

    probably not though

'Fraid democracy died a while ago when Ronnie O’Brien from Bray was dropped as Time Magazine's Man of the Century

Eh, if you removed the portion of votes he recieved from people running scripts that voted for him hundreds of times a minute, 24 hours a day, then he'd have fuck all of the votes. Shove your democracy up your hole.

    Also, fuck 4chan.

Democracy is alive and well. The Americans have an unusual system in the electoral collage ballot, I grant you, but the man with the most votes still got elected, unlike in previous years. How can you say it hasn;t worked out that way?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    1. Obama was appointed as a media-friendly puppet by the real leaders of the Democratic Party

    2. this thread is about Rick Astley.

Lol that was classic. For those that don't know, Ronnie O'Brien is an Irish professional footballer playing in the American league -
In August 1999, Time Magazine in the United States conducted an internet poll to find the Person of the Century. Mischievous friends in Bray sent an e-mail urging Irish people to vote for Ronnie O'Brien. O'Brien vaulted his way to the top of the standings, beating out such notables as Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King and Bill Clinton. Then there was a computer crash, which Time said was a result of too many people voting online at once. Instead of being named Person of the Century, O'Brien was taken out of the running, because Time officials said not enough people had heard of him. The official rules stated, "whimsical candidates will not be counted."

    :D

When this happened he was with Juventus and thats why it was done and so funny, the idea of some Irish kid making it playing along side Zinedine Zidane at the time. He also got voted best up and coming young player at the club which was a setup aswell, the reason it was so funny was he never even made a league appearance and the closest he got to Zidane was the training pitch. Priceless altogether :D

Eh, how about the fact that he's aware of 4chan and what they've done here. If he were to pick up that award he'd be contributing a huge private joke, and the joke is at his expense. Why on earth would he want to do that?
