    Im new (ish) to security, what is the difference between security+ and cissp?

    Both Security+ and CISSP are well recognised where I work, and in the industry ... particularly CISSP.

    There is a perception that Security+ is aimed at people with a couple of years experience, and CISSP is aimed at people with 4 years or more.
