Most Memorable Commentary Phrase

Ok kinda influenced by the 'first tv moment thread' buuuuut slightly different...over the years, what moments of commentary stick in your head, without watching tv.....
I guess one obvious one is JR's : 'STONE COLD STONE COLD STONE COLD'

Lets list 3:

1) Ultimate Warrior vs Macho King Savage - WM7 - Retirement match:

Bobby Heenan - 'Whoever stays stays, whoever goes goes' - Insightful

2) Sometime 97/98 or was it 99? - Raw - DX Reunite at the end of the show(HHH,xpac,outlaws) - against Rock/Stonecold

JR: ' DX is togethor, DX is togethor, DAM IT DAM IT DAM IT'

3) Undertaker - Mankind - Hell in a cell 98 - mankind off top of the cell

JR: 'OMG they've killed him'

Tank Abott met Al Green in a "leather jacket on a pole" match on Superbrawl 2000 in wcw. After the match Abott takes a knife to either Green's ear or throat. The camera cuts away (on the video anyway) and the commentators fall over themselves trying to explain it.

JR can make even simple stuff memorable. How about when Rock and Hogan were facing off at WM18...

a bit off topic here .... but joey style's shrill "oh my god"'s were some of the most annoying commentating I'd ever heard.

The commentary phrase that stuck in my head was Joey Styles at One Night Stand 2005. Mike Awesome did a dive over the rope and out of the ring and Styles said something like "big suicide dive over the top rope and it's a pity he wouldn't really take his own life." A couple of years later he did.

Well Styles wasnt to know obviously, It was the same with Brock at No Way Out against Eddie, "Just die Eddie"


Unfortunately hearing it afterwards but nobody has that kind of hindsight
