F type Female Connector

    Hi,
In our flat, someone cut the coax cable coming from the satellite dish, before i moved in.

Now i fixed it a few months back just using insulation tape.
Just basically wrapped the shield around the shield, then taped it, then wrapped the 2coax around themselves and taped that too

We get great reception but id like to fix it properly if i could.

I have a lot of male f-type connectors (just screw in) lying around but havent been able to come across any 'easy to use' female connectors. They all seem to need a crimping tool from what i can see...

Does anyone know where i can get female connectors, online or in a shop?
    No crimping tool?

    Thanks
    John

If your in Dublin Freesat in Fairview should have these. I sell them too but the flat rate shipping would be poor value.

B&Q, Atlantic, Power City - sell double ended joiners to screw 2 standard F connectors together.

Some hardware stores like Woodies and B&Q sell them there not expensive and easy to fit without a crimping tool.
