Hey does anyone know anything about the Video/Audio Sender thats in Aldi this sunday, its 40quid but I don't know if its worth it. We get cable NTL into the tv downstairs but ive a portable up in the bedroom which Im trying to get terrestrial on & its dire! Can't get any channel only Rte 2 & thats really bad! So im wondering if this is a good option or do you only have the option of watching the same channel on both tvs? Maybe Id be better off getting a splitter & running a cable up to the bedroom??

I would image (based on any splitter I've seen) that it would be same channel on different TVs.

Good price but you will have the same channel on both TVs assuming no splits.
Make sure it has a Remote Control Extender feature otherwise you will get plenty of exercise running up and down the stairs to flick the channels.
I got the Total Control Sender in Argos this week for €65 and it's brilliant, you just need to remember to bring the remote for the satellite box or cable box to bed with you. Details (no Spec) of the Aldi model are at aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/2867_7420.htm and the Argos model is at argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/5345014/Trail/searchtext>SENDER.htm again not a lot of detail.

I just bought a device similar to item 350130043418 on eBay and have had excellent results. The LCD is great in that spot otherwise known as the "leaba".:p

Works with my Thomson UPC PVR, and the device sells cheaper than the shop price when it goes on auction. I can't give you much info on the distance the signal travels as I'm only in a 1br apt.

And no, I not affiliated with the vendor, just a happy customer.
