hi,
quick question. anyone know where i can get my hands on that little red book they have at the gambler's anon meetings?
the name of it i can't remember but i got great solace and help from it when i was in big trouble with gambling 4 years ago.
i'm gradually slipping back into my old ways and want to stop without drawing any unnecessary attention from those close to me....

I know the book you are talking about.

I've been there too, but I'm only off it almost a year. I no longer go to the meetings, but I still use the book.

Are you able to go to a meeting near you to get a copy, or do you prefer not to do this?

I could lend you mine if you want to scan it in.

thanks all! still haven't got my hands on the red book,just keeping myself busy with work and stuff.

just now when i'm sitting down with the laptop the compulsion kicks in.
haven't gambled since last post but it's not been easy-every spare moment alone it kicks back in!!

i know all the usual old emotions and traits involved but i need to do something sooner rather than later....

how do you mean scan it in tir eoghain?
