Clinical Psychology Interviews

    Hi everyone,

I'm currently studying a PSI recognised MSc with a view to applying for the Clinical Doctorate (in any of the Irish Universities) next year. I'm a lot younger than the average age on the course but I'm thinking I might as well start applying now as not...

I've heard that the selection processes and interviews in each course are quite different. (for example some of them give you essays/ask you to present a jounal article/debate within groups)

If anyone has more information about that, or would be willing to share their own expereiences of applying to the courses, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking for anything that you think might help me prepare really.

My experience so far is; working as a social and recreational assistant to people with intellectual disability, a sessional worker in a children's listening service and a research assistant on a national reasearch study.

    Every little helps!
    Thanks in advance ;)
