Been a long time since we ran our Racecaller competitions on Boards and pleased to say that many of the Boards members who helped us with testing www.racecaller.com are still doing well (Ziggy currently 3rd overall).

There is a prize fund of €15,000 cash to be won by the top 10 finishers in the 2008 Overall Racecaller League which finishes on the 31st December 2008.
    First prize is €5,000.
It's completely free to join up and play but to be in with a chance of winning one of the cash prizes you must have placed 40 tips in our league competition (1 tip per day).

As there's less than 2 months left in the year time is running out for new members to get involved.

Any who wishes to join and be in with a chance of winning can sign up for free at:

    http://www.racecaller.com/register.php

    Good luck,

    Racecaller

Racecaller.com tipped for success with new contracts
    Sunday, March 08, 2009 By Dick O’Brien
Start-up horse racing website Racecaller. com has signed a number of new deals, which it believes will be significantly revenue enhancing.

The company has developed a ‘white label’ or unbranded version of its service, which it has begun to sell on to big content providers as a value-added service.

Racecaller.com signed its first deal with British digital television channel Racing UK, which will see its service available over the channel’s website. In addition to this, the company has just signed a contract with Eircom.net, which will see the service launch on its website in the coming weeks.

Co-founder and marketing manager Cillian Barry said that the white label version of the service took more than 300 hours in planning, design and development time.

However, now that the project is completed, the service can be integrated into a third party website in less than a day. The company hopes to seal a number of similar contracts over the coming months and is already at an advanced stage of negotiations with a number of media organisations in Britain.

It is also hoping to establish a foothold in south-east Asia, having recently appointed a business development executive to try and win licensing deals in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

Barry said that both deals would be significantly revenue enhancing for the company, with advertising sharing arrangements in place.

‘‘From a marketing and reach point of view, it is also a very big deal for us, since it provides us with a level of scalability we would not have been able to afford ourselves,” Barry added.

Racecaller.com utilises social networking technology to bring horse racing fans together to exchange tips and warnings about upcoming races.

The site runs regular competitions, providing daily, monthly and annual prizes to the most accurate tipsters
