    Hi,
I was thinking of getting one of these bikes: http://www.montaguebikes.co.uk/default.asp
(not sure what model) for commuting next year. I often have to put the bike into the back of a car and it is a pain folding down the back seats.

Anyone have any comments on the specs etc.
They have been on sale in the states for years but only had ( a really expensive) agent in Germany up to this point. I only recently found the English agent above.

At 14kg it's a lot heavier than the lightest Brompton, less compact when folded, and probably no faster. It is, however, much cheaper.

If the only reason for a folding bike is to get it in the car easily, then why not just get a bike rack for the car?
