    Hi all,

Does anyone know of an easy to use payroll system for a small 2 person business? There used to be a system which was free to businesses with less than 3 employess. Can anyone remember which system that is?

    Regards,

    Fish

    Hi Fish,

Not sure what the free one is but for my payroll bureau I use Payback - see www.payback.ie for more info and a downloadable demo version...

It's a very easy to use system...

    Hi all,
bit of a noobie here, Just a quick question does the payroll software do all the prsi calculations automiticly once the tax credits have been entered?

Does it then also give the total that the company will need to pay the revenue?

yes payroll will calculate prsi automatically provided you have the correct prsi class set-up. You should also ensure you have the latest budget patch. In Sage payrolls this should read (2008 Budget)

There is a catch on this. you will have to provide your business name and contact details to Sage also in the new tax year you will have to download the new version of Quickpay 3 from their website, which won't be available straight away. Sage will endevour to sell you a maintenance contract to avoid this though!
