I like RTDH's threads. He backs them all up with links. Yes, he might be a bit paranoid but still they can make for some interesting reading.

How hard is it for some people to just ignore a thread. Are they that obsessed with boards that if a thread is open then they feel the urge to go in and have a look around and comment on what some other people actually find amusing. Is it impossible to just scroll on past it. Them posts were harmless fun, and the people who originated, and posted in them were having harmless fun at no ones expense. Why can't people grow up and realize that not everything is associated with them and a joke that they are not in on is okay.

Show me where these threads are funny? How is posting "isnt this the stupidest thread ever" funny? Maybe its the fact that i have grown up that i dont find them funny?

Ask anyone that participated in the thread of they thought it was funny. Immature it may have been but calling for bans iMO is more immature. I guess like sense of humour, people idea of maturity also varies.

Or maybe when you claim to be "mature" you're actually just being uptight.

Maturity is about being able to handle complex social situations and account for the feelings others, and all sorts of stuff like that.

It's nothing to do with not making silly jokes.
