    Hi,

I want to spend some of my hard earned cash tomorrow, but there is just so many choices of good games out there I can't decide. I want something to play next week as I wait for COD5. So I was hoping you guys would help me with my choice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Far Cry 2
I vote for Fallout 3. Its going for €50 in GAME & HMV.

Excellent Action RPG with unique combat system (VATS) and decent story.

    Fallout 3

farcry 2 id say, tho ive not played resistance yet

fallout is afflicted with slowdown and glitches on the ps3, so its not really worth getting imo

    dead space is dreadfully repetitive

bioshock is great alrite, but i dont think id be bothered buying a game for full price that was out over a year ago on the 360

A few people have said that over on the PSN. I'm going to opt for the pc version.
I like dead space myself ,but haven't played R2 or FC2.

    Resistence 2
I voted FC2 as it's value for money. With all the side missions there must be at least 40 hours of gaming in there. It's a bit of a slow burning game so don't expect pace like your average FPS.

Although R2 is supposed to be good. It also has excellent co-op support.

fallout3 for me. all platforms have issues if you look on bethesdas forums, 360 more than ps3 at the minute, but the game willl get patched. still highly enjoyable.

Amazed Bioshock is doing so sh!te. Probably cos everyone already has it on the 360.

Releasing a fairly crap port of a game released 18 months ago isn't going to give you big sales in this very crowded october, november release schedule.

Same for Valkyrie Chronicles; good game released at wrong time. If it had been released 2 months ago, it might have done better.

Thanks for the responses, I was really just torn on Bioshock and Dead Space, now I'm torn on more. lol. Is Bioshock that bad?

bioshock is great, it looks worse than the 360 version, but its a fantastic game

just not really one worth paying full price for considering its so bloody old

Eh..it's not a crap port imho. They redid some of the textures here and there and made them higher resolution which can make some other textures stand out. And it does support 1080p via upscaling. Don't know why it's considered a crap port. It's at least as good as the 360 from my experience. And on metacritic it's still in the top 3, just behind GTAIV and LBP.

Bioshock is €41.99 on play, do you think it will get much cheaper than that?

Is Bioshock worth the €25.49 on play?

Yeah. It's a really good game. The fact it is 18 months old shouldn't make a difference to you as you haven't played it yet.
