    Hi,
Just like the title says! Basically need to book my ski holiday (€700 max per person)for six of us by Friday. Went to Zell am See last year and was great but we've decided very late in the year to go again.

We'd like somewhere with good ski infrastructure, short transfers preferably and suitable for mixed experience all round and of course good apres ski! Was looking at Alpe d'Heuz, Val Thorens and Avoriaz on France and Zell Am See, Soll and Kaprun in Austria.

Any ideas or experience you can give would be invaluable. Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at Chamrousse? Very short transfer from Grenoble, great mixed skiing, with easy runs on one side of the mountain getting harder until you are doing the two Olympic Downhill pistes. Cheap apartments, often with free ski passes. Apres-ski is ok, not a riot, but if there's a good gang of you, that won't be a problem, and the lower prices should help too.

Andermatt might also be a possibility. Easy transfer from Zurich, lots of cheap hotels and some lovely B&Bs, amazing skiing, usually no queues, and absolutely snowsure. Last time I was there, I don't think I paid for a single drink myself, people kept pouring booze into me.

I would highly recommend Borovets, Bulgaria if your on a tight budget

Im currently going there the end of Jan and we have organised it all our selves and its working out at about €530pp for Flights, Hotel( Half Board) and Ski Equipment for 7 days.

I would think very carefully before booking Borovets. If you get the snow it could be OK, otherwise it could be poor at best. I was there about 10 years ago and was lucky to get great snow so had good skiing, but I've heard very mixed reports since.
Have a read of some of the reviews here. http://www.ifyouski.com/resorts/view/?objectid=274004&template=survey

Consider Sauze d'Oulx or Sestriere in Italy. Both are in the Milky Way ski area which is huge and they hosted the last Winter Olympics there. Turin is close. It is a few years since I was there but it was pretty good value. APres SKi is Sauze is legendry ("Ibiza on the snow" they call it)
Val Thorens is also a good bet, quarnateed snow, hugh ski area. Lift pass is pricey, but you can get cheap accomodaton in the tiny self catering apts. Apres Ski is pretty OK but not the best.
