Anyone else have this on linux - Firefox , on www.eurosport.com any time I click on a Breaking News item the text gets overlapped by a dropdown menu.

That doesn't happen for me, I am running Ubuntu with Firefox 3. It doesn't even show a drop down, just works as a link. This was after disabling NoScript and Adblock btw. Actually I don't even see the breaking news section at all. I tried logging in too, but it does not show.

Yahoo does seem to no be very *nux friendly though. I have had instances where their news site has failed to load the style sheet before and it looked like I was browsing a page from 1990.

Mind screenshotting what you see? The breaking news is a white box on the left with an RSS button in it. It works fine in Opera FWIW.

Edit: turned off adblock completely and now the breaking news is just one line at a time and the dropdown menu doesn't autoexpand like before. So yeah, it's either ads or broken dispaly. Cheers :)

Glad its working. I am curious about the breaking news now though, I feel like I might be missing out or something :)

I put a black arrow next to the rss button I see...

"Petrov suffers knee blow" is the breaking news thing. It cycles between headline every few seconds. With adblock on all the stories display in a list.

You could install a Feed Reader. I use Liferea, it's quite nice.
