While rummaging through the wardrobe last night I came across my white 1996 Liverpool FC Replica Cup Final suit and it reminded the AAI Awards Night is in a couple of weeks. Who do you all think will take the main prize , Athlete of the Year?

    Olive Loughnane
Well obviously, I voted for the Hesh.

But Rob Heffernan and Olive Loughnane have real claims on the prize.
I reckon Olive will get it.

Yes, he deserved it. Was a good night, nice award for Breda Synnott too for Lifetime Achievement. Gregan deservedly won the Junior while Tir Chonaill won the club for their great win in the womens track and field league. Phil Roche got coach of the year which is great for such an unsung hero!
