Soccer arcade game

I'm wondering if anyone remembers an arcade game out in the early 90's (based on Italia '90 I think). I'm quite sketchy on the details but whenever you had progressed through the tournament, the final team you played was a team called 'God'. Furthermore, if anyone does remember it, did it come out on a console?

Something like that. You could score the majority of your goals by heading across the keeper.

Would it have been a tecmo game? Remember a good few units of a tecmo soccer game being around, could have been tecmo world cup soccer. Had some gorgeous 2D effects and a nice intro with sprite scaling of a player running out of the tunnel. Tecmo world soccer maye?

Temco World Soccer 96 for the Neo Geo? It was on a lot of multi cabs back in the 90s.

It's one of the games that came with my own cab actually. Not usually one for football titles, but it's quite a lot of fun.

The Tecmo one is the only overhead soccer game I can recall.

I wonder was it Super Cup Finals by Taito in 1993?.If I remember, the last team you had to play were hard as nails,can't remember their name though.

For some reason I'm wondering if it may have been Goal ! Goal ! Goal ! but i'm pretty certain that was released later that then time period you're thinking of.

The game is Goal 92, or Olympic Soccer 92 depending on where you play it.
The game also had the dynamite kick in it that if your shot hit the crossbar, the ball could fly the whole way down the field and into your own net!
