smear test & the pill

    Hi everyone,

    hope this is the right forum!!

    for the last year and a bit ive had to have 6 monthly smears as i have had two abnormal results, the first one was BNC and the second was grade 1 abnormal cells, i was not on the pill when i had these smears done, but due to other medical issues i have since been taking it. i am due another smear in 3-4 weeks (my third) to see if its gotton any worse/better in which case they will bring me in under the knife.

    so my question is, will being on the pill have an effect on the results of my smear this time? either for better or worse?

    i have tried looking some stuff up on the internet but nothing really came up.

    id love your suggestions on this!!

    Sorry. This stuff is way too important to be relying on info from randomers on the internet for.

    You should really have a chat to a doctor about this.

    Hope you get it sorted :D
