Was just wondering what people are doing at the momment, I know its after the marathon for those who did it and people have different aims.

    I'm 30-32 miles

At the moment I would say 20-25 miles. That includes "normal" mileage and football training etc.

3 8 milers per week at the moment. I'll take a month off around Christmas and then carry that on and start mountain running.

I'd say I'm doing about 2 miles per week - because all my running is in a swimming pool!

i've done very little since the marathon. i went out once and did about 8km.
once i get back into it this week i'll probably be back doing about 40-50km per week. it depends on time now that i dont have anything i need to train hard for. im probably going to try and replace some of that with swimming/gym too.

Usually do about 20 miles per week. I run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings and I've been sticking to this for some time now.
I'm going to up it in the next few weeks to follow amadeus' training plan and see if I can break 50min 10K. I'll be over the moon if it works, but i'll still go back to my 3 days a week afterwards, as it really suits.

I think it'll be very hard to make significant progress with your running off 3 days per week training.

Doing 4 x 3milers at the moment so 12 per week.
Will hope to up this to about 20 over the winter and do a 10k on stephen's day time about 52 mins.
Now I've said it will have to do it!!
Also lift weights- pushups etc 3 times a week.

    Last 6 weeks: 62, 75, 75, 92, 67, 65

Mostly slow miles - one interval session & one tempo session or race per week also - miles lower on race weeks (from above <70 = race week).

Hoping to hit over 80 for next few weeks and then taper for novice CC. After that considering a spring marathon as I've a lot of endurance work done - possibly Barcelona or Rotterdam - anyone experience with these marathons?

From April/May I will reduce to 40-50miles per week with lots of racing - that's the fun part :)

Hey, just wondering what did you change the week you did 92? And why? Do you try to do a big week once per month or something? I don't keep count of my mileage too much, but I'd say a month for me would often go something like 58 60 62 44.

No scientific reason - just happened that way. It was a bit too much ...

In general I've found the more miles I do, the faster I get. But you have to fit this in with life and the balancing act of minimising injury risk. Also I find that it's very difficult to do quality tempo/interval sessions when you go above 75mpw. I listen to my body - if I feel good, I run more - if I'm tired I rest. This can lead to inconsistent training, but for me it's better than sticking to a schedule that pushes me too far when tired ...

Pre-marathon I was running approx 40 miles per week. Since then thought I have a knee injury so I'm resting and the moment and its sooo frustrating! Feeling like I'm getting fatter by the second.
