ps3 warranty...

    I bought a ps3 80g model yesterday..after reading some disaster storys on boards im thinking should i get a longer warranty than the usual 12months..
    I purchased it in smyths toys so dont know if they offer a longer warranty like say...argos!

    i bought a PS3 last december in smyths and my console packed up last week.

    I rang Sony who gave me a ref number to give to Smyths who exchanged it there and then.Found them to be very good as i thought i would be waiting fot it to come back from sony.

    Just keep your receipt safe.

    Think Smyths only do 1 year warranty.

    Enjoy your PS3
