Have 'music has the right to children' anything else worth listening to?

I'd pick up Geogaddi and Boc Maxima next, both excellent albums (although some Boc Maxima tunes were re-used in Music Has the Right to Children) :)

I kinda like the Campfire Headphase album, it's worth it just for Chromakey Dreamcoat and Satellite Anthem Icarus. :)

Peacock Tail, 84 Pontiac Dream, Sherbet Head and Dayvan Cowboy on Campfire Headphase.

Julie and Candy, 1969 and The Devil is in the Details on Geogaddi.

    Absolutely amazing tunes.

Also, on Trans Canada Highway - check out 'Left Side Drive'.

Aaaah, Boards of Canada - bliss!!:)

For me the best release they had was the "Beautiful place out in the country" EP/CD. Absolute quality from start to finish. Four tracks of just brilliance. "Music has the right to children" is their best album but this was their best EP imo.

Geogaddi is really just more of the same and while it is good, its not what you'd want from a follow up album.

"Trans Canada Highway" is pretty good aswell and their most recent release.

They also have unoffical tracks you can get from rapidshare or where ever. They're actually pretty good also. Really shows where they were coming from and how their ideas evolved. Shows how much of a unique band they are.

I think you're safe with any Boards of Canada release. No lemons to be found there.

    The song "1969" is fantastic.

Meh. BoC really went downhill after A Beautiful Place Out In The Country EP. Geogaddi is just annoying and Campfire Headphase is just boring.

I think their best release is the Hi Scores EP on Skam or Peel Session EP on Warp.
