"buying" a recording from RTE

    hi,

    does anyone know if RTE do this any more:
    looking to get a recording of a program on vhs / dvd from rte - had it recorded on sky+ but one of the house devils :rolleyes: deleted it

    I know they did a good few years ago cos I was looking it up but cannot find anything on the rte site now

    did you see if the show you recorded was available to watch on the website?you can watch some shows online on the website

    Nah - I already checked, program no longer available

    gonna try phone/email to see if they still offer the service....

    AFAIK RTE charge an arm and a leg for copies of shows.

    Although that could be if you want to use bits of them in a show yourself.

    Private sales might be cheaper.

    So..... to answer your question - I don't know.
