    Hello,

    I have this on my laptop but have no idea what it does?
    What is its use and if i dont need it how difficult is it to get rid of it?

    Sounds like its un-needed junk, look in add/rermove programs in control panel for it to remove, if you want to replace it, try Spybot

    agreed, i would consider any of the crap AOL put on your machine as borderline spyware in itself, just uninstall anything from AOL anyway, and as the previous poster said, spybot (or Ad-Aware) are better alternatives

    Supposedly protects you from malware, MalwareBytes or SuperAntiSpyware are much better alternatives that can be trusted. Just uninstall the AOL in control panel, Add/remove
