Warranty question

My 360 was manufactured in October 2006, I bought it in December 2006, I got the RROD in January 2008. MS did whatever they do to fix it under warranty and returned it to me in February.

I've been getting quite a few disc error messages for the past few months so I rang up tonight to see what could done. The unhelpful cow at MS told me my 360 is out of warranty and it'll cost e87 to fix. Did they not extend the warranty from one to two years last year? There's no way I'm paying e87 to fix the faultiest electrical device I have ever owned, I'd be surprised if it's got more than 80 hours use since I bought it.

The extended warranty only applies to the RROD.

Don't think you will have much look getting the drive replaced for free.
