Clean a laptop

I have a laptop that's been sitting around for about a year. It still works but it's covered in dirt, dust and layers of the stuff! Everytime I use it my hands are covered in muck.

I've tried some computer cleaning wipes on it but I feel like I'm just wiping forever and nothings happening.

Any ideas on the best way to clean this up?

Spit and elbow grease. Lens Cloths are also quite good. So are cotton swabs. rubbing alcohol applied very sparingly might help break up some of the gunk.

Get some canned air to get the dust out of the keyboard. If you're in Dublin you can get them in town in Maplins or Peats, otherwise a hardware store might have them.

For the rest use a soft wipe like Overheal said.
