My photo on tv3 & I missed it!

My photo was on after the weather tonight on tv3 and I missed it as I had the tv on mute In my excitment of trying to take the mute off I accidently turned the tv off completely! Does anyone know where I can get a copy of that segment - did anyone tape it or is it posted on youtube or similar reguarly? I'd also like to be able to send it home to my parents in Australia so they can see it.

Hey mel.b,

I have had content featured on TV3 before.
Basically, if you contact them, they will organise to get the material on video for you. However, they normally require a charge to dig it out. It's near the €100 last time a news segment was required.

ps, how I know he shows the same is I had one on his show before. I got a load of texts of people asking if I had submitted a photo so I got by bro to record it that evening in the hope that he would show the same photos and he did!

Stay up and watch it and pm if he shows the photo, and if he does then ill have the copy on to you

grrr...i sat up and watched that hideous show 'nightly news with vincent brown' and then they didn't show any of the photos at the end of the weather

Just send a copy of the Photo & adda description of how it was featured on the News. This way you can slightly exaggerate the whole thing.

yeah i actually stayed up to make sure the weather was on, and then it wasn't!

they must have done away with the news and weather at 11pm, sorry about that!

So how do you get photos on TV3 weather ?

just email them in and they might show them ? of course you don't get paid ?

or do you ... I wouldn't mind ... free publicity ..

I just emailed my photo to martin.king@tv3.ie with a short description. There is also a form on the tv3 website you can use.
