Don't know if anyone has mentioned it here yet.. but did a quick browse of the previous 2 pages of the forum and didn't see it.

Just saw an ad advertising it there with Neil Delamere and Colin Murphy saying it's moved to RTÉ1, and it's also changed nights to Thursday at 10.15pm.

yeah new line of programmes set for RTE2 ... at least it hasn't been cancelled though ... RTE1 / RTE2 just a click of a switch really. Are they still going to be alternating the presenter i wonder?

As much as I wish that'd happen.. it's not bloody likely!

He may appear on as a guest at some stage but he's kicking arse (and is very busy) over in the UK.. and steals the show on practically everything he's on (even in guest spots). Take last week's 'Argumental' on Dave for example.. not a great show whatsoever but Dara was hilarious!

I have got used to the various lads presenting and each bringing their own traits to the show ... I wouldn't mind Dara coming back every now and again but not as full-time presenter ... and when considering how busy he is i'm :)

They are, with Ray Darcy being the first, I wonder how many times will he harp on about being a dad or will he keep that for his radio show ?

    Katherine Lynch?

This is going to be cancelled after this season. It just won't work on RTE ONE.

I would love to see these new shows that RTE are planning for the second channel. If the best they can do is Katherine Lynch, they need to think about the Panel moving back to RTE TWO.

Anyway it has been running too long. Time for a new show.

I guess the first episode will do well since it is on the day after the US election.

What an original comment. Really didnt see that one coming after the mention of Ray Darcys name.

I for one am looking forward to Darcy presenting it.

First nail in the coffin. Sorry I used to think Ray D'Arcy was good but on the few occassions that I have listened to his radio show he went on about the same text for 2 hours.

However if he is able to enjoy the panel as much as he did the Den, then I think he will be a good presenter. But he is going to need to let the other 4 people do the comedy.

    Whist a while part 4 of the Den's St. Patrick's day :)

Obviously as you sarcastically say you "didn't see that one coming" I'm not the only one who has this opinion, and it is an opinion which I'm allowed to have, such as yourself. You're not being attacked for having the opinion that you're looking forward to seeing it are you ?
    Well you should, fool :D

Why is this garbage still going? I watched their ad for the new series.

"Can we still slag off politicians?"

Yeah because your show is really edgy, right? It's a poor man's Mock the Week at the end of the day. Instead of Frankie Boyle you have the boil on the arse of comedy aka Andrew Maxwell.

Hopefully this is its last run.

    +1

As much as I love it, the rest of the lads on it (which are funny guys) just spend their time shouting over each other. Each one trying to be funnier than the other.

Hope nobody told Ed Byrne it was moving...

Mock the Week isn't any good IMO, and isn't much better then The Panel.

But they are two different shows.
