Have always been interested in photography and got a present of a Canon 400D last year. I really want to do a part time photography course that aint too expensive...Any suggestions?? Would love to learn how to use my camera to its full potential... Any suggestions on where to start would be great..:)

    Dublin camera club?

Looks like next beginner's course starts in January but you could join the club too before that... depending on where you are in the country of course...

Links to other camera clubs and organisations in Ireland.

i was just about to suggest your local camera club.
my opinion is that you just get out there and start snapping, get about 2 gig of storage for your camera and take snaps of absoloutely everything, tinker with the settings, you will learn from your mistakes TRUST ME!!!.

and i promise you .... when you get one shot that you like or that even stands out from 2 or 300 shots thats when you know your improving, and thats what makes it all worth while.

i would say most people nowadays are self taught, but a course is also a great idea, just keep a passion for it,AND GET OUT THERE.

    scott.
