    If yes, I would like to invite you to take part in a music fan group sessions about music fan communication on social networking sites!

    Requirements: You are over 18 and describe yourself as a music fan. Moreover you are in regular contact with your favorite bands on social networking sites (e.g. MySpace, Bebo, Facebook) writing them messages and reading their updates. In addition you always wanted to talk about the newest musician bulletin on your message board or the hilarious comment from your favorite artist you received the other day.

    Summary of the Music Fan Group Sessions:

    • you will receive a welcome drink
    • have the possibility to meet other music fans
    • will take part in a public pub in Dublin City Centre
    • talk about music related topics for one hour

    Background of the Music Fan Group Sessions:

    • Sessions are part of a research study about music online
    • Master course: MSc in Cyberpsychology, IADT
    • Institute: Institute of Art, Design and Technology Dun Laoghaire
    • Title of the Study: Music Marketing Online and how Fans perceive it

    Dates for the Music Fan Group Sessions:

    • Wednesday, 5th of November 7:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, 11th of November 7:30 p.m.
    • Monday, 17th of November 7:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, 18th of November 7:30 p.m.
    • Additional dates on request

    If you are interested in signing up for the Music Fan Group Sessions please send me an email to fansights@gmail.com and let me know which dates would suit you best or which weekday would be best for you and moreover which social networking sites you are a member of. I will then send you an email with the sessions you are in.
