Samsung TV HDMI mode not working

    Hi

My Samsung 32" LCD HD ready tv has stopped working on HDMI. It seems the issue is that it can't handle HDCP on the Sky HD box or on a DVD player. All I get is sound and a blank screen. I have tried a couple of HDMI cables. No luck.

Samsung don't want to know as it is just over 1 year old. Quoting European regulations don't phase them.

Anyone know anyone that could possibly repair the problem?

    Thanks

The problem is proberbly the the setting. By any chance is the sky hd broadcasting to you tv on 24 frames settings? So tv don't support that so they don't display.

Try checking the settings on the sky or what ever is connecting to the tv via hdmi. If else fails contact any electronic shops abot fixers.

    Thanks for the reply.

It all worked ok until suddenly the SKY HD said that the display cannot handle HDCP.

Is there anyone that can fix it?
