I have recently had SKY HD installed and just today tried to go to BBC1 (CH 141) but each time I do it says that there is "No satelite signal being recieved 25"

Anyone else had this problem or know how to sort it out??

NB: It was happening on more than one Sky box!

    Thanks.

Could be that the dish is slightly misaligned.... or could be that something is causing interference... what channels are missing apart from bbc ni ?

As far as I can tell BBC1 NI is the only problem. Everything else works fine!! I only had it installed a week ago and would imagine it was done right!!

What could cause interference?? Could a wireless router do it?? I might try a reboot and see if that works!!

I have the same problem and I have narrowed it doen to a problem caused by recording a programme.

If I am recording a programme, then all other channels give the error meddage. If while I am out and I am recorfing two channels then either one or both will fail.

There is a possibility that it is caused by one of the connections from the LNB is faulty. I still have to check that out.

From other boards it seems to be a common problem but I would welcome any additional insight.

It does sound like one of your LNB feeds isn't working properly, go to Services > System Setup > Signal Test and see if they're both locked.

Checked that and both inputs are as follows
    Signal Strenght 100%
    Signal Quality 90%
    Lock Indicator OK

As I said before this is the same (no signal for BBC1) on all 3 HD Boxes in the house!! And this is the only channel that is a problem. I also dont think it is a dish alignment problem as surely other channels on the same freq would be affected!!

Could this be a package error problem with Sky ie what the cards are programmed to recieve??

    Out of ideas now!!

    Thanks.
