Medical testing for £££

Hey,

It's been a while since I've set foot in the quirkey world of After Hours, but I'd imagine this question is right up your street, as some of you may be a product of medical testing. :pac:

A mate of mine heard an add on the radio where you can go up North (she thinks) and basically take drugs for 4 days at a time and see if your head explodes and what not.

Then, if you're grand after it all, you get paid £3,500 (sterling) for your troubles and/or imparments.

Just a question, do any of you fine people know where this can be sourced on teh interweb, as I may need some money for travel and popping a few monkey drugs may be my ticket to a better life.

Yeah it is done mostly in belfast, a friend of mine here did it and they canceled the test for some reason and she still got paid in full the cow!

Cant remember the name of the crowd who do it (dont think its £3500 tbh) but if needed i can find it out

I cant get the thought of what happened them lads a year or two ago remember the test got all messed up and they were badly messed up for life

I'd like to be a part of this, mainly cos I'd like to go into medical research myself so it'd be interesting to see how it is from the patient's perspective. I'd be a little wary though, consiedering those guys who died from the drugs testing a few years ago. I'd suppose though that they'd have gone through rigorous animal testing first of all before they applied it to humans.

I took an anti-depressant that was later taken off the market because it was causing people to commit suicide.
I'd take the risk.

As tempting as all as it sounds, and sounds like "easy money" I've read of far too many cases where people have been left brain damaged, critically ill requiring kidney transplants etc.. and even in some cases, dead.

And then of course there's all manner of rashes/growths/swellings/hair loss/lots of undesireable effects..

Your health is your wealth as they say..

Many do it for a enjoyment! i.e. dangerous sports and unknown street drugs.

I think some colleges here were testing MDMA before.

A friend of mine did a cough syrup test years ago and got £600 for it i think. All he had to do was give blood 4 times i think and stay overnight and play playstation 2 nights. Not bad if you ask me!

Testing drugs produced by professional drugs companies (and gettting paid for the privilge) is a darn sight less risky than paying a few quid for something concocted up in someones back bedroom.
