i have an olympus camedia that uses a smart media card, mine is only 16 mb. is there a way of fitting another type of card to this, i am going on hols soon, the cost of a decent size card is hefty, or would i be better off getting a different camera, thanks in advance.

in terms of smartmedia cards, you'll find loads up to 128MB capacity over on ebay from 20 - 30 euros plus postage. However, verify that your camera model will support larger capacity cards. Not sure if you have a budget but lets say the card cost you incl postage €30/€40 you'd need to compare it with sub €100 p&s which is fine for holiday snaps. Some great names available with lots features (Kodak's, Fuji's, Canon, etc..) for sub €100. If you want to get more serious, then a bridge type of camera can start at €160 (fuji s5600) and into entry level DSLR's for somewhere between €400 - €500. So the truth is out there..... do-di-do-do.... the choice is yours ;)

That'a great camera. Think carefully about what you replace it with, as the quality might not be the same.;)
