In Brighton if anyone happens to be over there then or even in London drop down it's only 45 mins on a train, im playing an Acid House set at this too,very excited about it as well playing a bar/club, should be a briliant day and nite.

Nice one Johnny congratulations mate looks like a cracker dont think i gonna make it over there this side of christmas lad but id love to get a listen to ur set if ur recording a practice run or watever

Good luck with this Jonny. I heard from a little birdie that you are gonna shock everyone with a minimal set.

Indeed ill be playing Minimal all the way :pac: cheers lads ive no idea yet what im gonna play, personally i find that a lot of Acid House can be quite difficult to mix so not sure ill play an Acid set, most likely opt for a early/mid 1990's House/Techno set.

Your not joking there Johnny man Acid house and break beats a nightmare to mix... let us know wat ur thinking of tune wise anyways!!!

Cheeky vid (thanks to Paul USH) of one of our earlier events http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=20831185045 at the rather fun Paradise in Kensal Rise (was recently featured as some celeb hangout in some tatty chick mag!), with quite a few forum regulars gracing the dancefloor.

Change of scenery as we move things to the sea side. Few familiar faces on the flyer and a couple of newcomers. 2 floors of fun with old skool downstairs and acid house upstairs.

Entry is absolutely free and going to be plenty of drinks deals on the day. Got a fancy smoking area out the back, but illegal substances will not be tolerated.

The Lounge Bar is located at 7-8 Albion Street, Brighton, BN2 9NE.

Loads of free all day and night parking in the bank streets behind the bar on streets such as Belgrave Street.

Looking to make this a regular event, so for those who didnt get in touch regarding playing at this one but want to get involved next time, come along and give me a CD demo on the day.

Set times announced, im on at 8pm, not too bad as it starts at 4 in the day and ive got the rest of the nite to have it large and take in the atmosphere,have my set all but prepared, a mixture of old skool underground Progressive and Piano House with the occasional Acid House tune thrown in for good measure, i hear there might be an illegal Rave on afterwards too.:)

Fcuk :eek: change of plan, the local council said the upstairs part of the bar/club couldnt be opened for some mad reason so now there's only 1 room and the set times have changed and seen as im flying from Ireland the geezer running it said i could play last YIKES:D im gonna be pretty nervous about this as i was gonna be playing at 8pm originally when it would only be half full but by then (12.30ish) it'll be packed,hope to fcuk i don't get too mullered:D wish me luck!!!!
