    Hi Lads,

I've a 1983 Mercedes 200 that would be a good winter project. Its an original irish car (I have the taxbook), 195k on odo, 4 speed manual, thistle green.

The car has some rust, but its not a basket case. Rust is on the back passenger door (needs a replacement tbh), rust scab on bonnet, Small hole on the sill between the front wheelarch and jacking point (passenger side) and hole under battery box on inner wing (accessible for welding).

All wheelarches on this one are good!!

The car starts and runs, but it needs a new diaphragm in the carburator.
Also, the valve seals are probably hardened with age and lack of use.
The car would need to be transported.
    Usual saggy drivers seat.

Other than above, a solid good car which is far too good for breaking. I've been totally honest with the above description.

Car is near Clara, Co. Offaly. Im looking for 900E, but willing to listen to offers.

\edit I will be putting this on adverts, but regular readers here get 1st shot!

    Hi All,

Due to a new acquisition, this car has to find a new home. 500E gets you a nice original merc that only requires slight work.

Come and have a look - if I like the look of ya, I might even offer a cup of tea.
